Throughout this unit, I will develop my ability to react to new situations, my ability to learn and to organize my time.
By the end of this unit I will be able to:
• interchange simple information related to quantities, numbers and prices in everyday conversations;
• find specific information in commonly used written materials such as advertisements, brochures, menus, lists and schedules;
• use body language to clarify what I want to say, for example, point to what I want, and
• understand what people tell me if they speak clearly and repeat what they say if I ask them to.
By the end of the Competence Unit I will be able to:
• ask and answer questions about prices and quantities;
• identify and use correctly the determiners some and any;
• identify and use correctly the demonstrative adjectives this, these, that and those;
• identify and use correctly the plural form of nouns.
